I just don't get it!

I see no spark between Bette and Jodi - no fire - no passion. If Jodi keeps on dissing Bette's moves she will end up on the outside looking in on Bette's relationship with Tina. Tina appreciates Bette's thoughtfulness. Jodi is too one-dimensional for me.

omg i can`t stand marlle matlin`s characteras well as her "relationship" w/bette.NO CHEMISTRY what so ever... its prolly just "fluff" until TIBETT get back together.. no worries 4 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you? |

I see plenty of chemistry and i like them together. The scenes when they are together really hit me you know where hehe it's just sooo hot! I'm sorry but given a choice between Jodi and Tina....if I was Bette i would choose Jodi. It's a no-brainer. She would challenge me and help me grow as a person whereas Tina would just conform like she did before. I would also have in the back of my mind the WHOLE time, that Tina went back to men and may do it again at some point. I would not want to have that happen twice to me. So why don't you open your eyes and "see" the relationship between Jodi and Bette instead of judging it just because it's not what you want to happen? I honestly don't think you have looked very hard because other people see it. The only ones who don't are the ones who slashed their wrists when Tina and Bette broke up! I loved Bette and Tina, but their time is done. I have moved on and accepted Jodi as a great person for Bette after Tina. So should you. 3 out of 6 found this valuable. Do you? |

OK I got it, this is "Jodi`s page", but as far as how things are playing out with the writersBette is losing all kinds of patience with Jodi AND her friends, gettin tossed in the lake really DID`NT help matters....peace, LOVE, and RESPECT to all (angry) lesbians everywhere!! 4 out of 4 found this valuable. There was plenty of heat between Bette and the carpenter. There is Heat beween Tina and Bette and occationally there is a little when Jodi & Bette have sex, like the first time, but after tht it is not so much and the fighting pretty much puts water on anything that has any embers at all. That relationship needs to be burried. Go Back to Tina and the baby.

Lord, Varia! Who pooped in your mess kit yesterday? I believe I am on the correct page as I was addressing the relationship between Bette and Jodi. They don't even communicate on the same page. Did you see ep. 4 when Bette called Jodi into her office about the offensive art student? Jodi had no clue what Bette was trying to tell her; just like when Bette decorated her table and Jodi didn't understand why Bette invaded her space. There is no spark with these two and their relationship is dying a VERY SLOW death. Marlee Maitlin is a great actress and also very cute. I don't know why you are so angry. Get over it - it's fiction!

People really don't get it because I am an interpreter and I know a little bit about Deaf culture. Jodi's character is based on a "culturally" Deaf person. They tend to be very blunt and need their space. They are more stuck in their ways than others. Jodi has the right to say that a person shouldn't invade their space. Yes it was a kind gesture but a person should ask before they start moving things around.

Jodi Was a rebound relationship for Bette so of course there wasnt any chemistry she used Jodi to get over Tina dating the man who ever he was

I never saw the two of them together, I for one, am glad she is gone, hopefully gone. It looks like she might stick around for a while, certainly the last show. Next season ? who knows.....Matlin was hot in Childern of a Lesser God.
