After being introduced, the three sit down and Kit learns that Ivan has been in a relationship with Iris (the dancer) for five years. Kit has a few harsh words about that, then promptly leaves. In Episode 11 of Season 5, SheBar owners Dawn Denbo and her partner Cindi announce that they have made a deal with Ivan to buyout his ownership interest in The Planet -- something Dawn said Ivan was "all too happy" to do.

Glad Ilene gave Kit more lines. Kit will protect Bette. Afterall, Kit did have to go and try and get Bette out of jail once. Bette has all kinds of interests in the movie. Why? It is Tina's movie, and the ending is changed without her knowledge. Already it is affecting Tina and Bette's relationship.
