SEASON FOUR
After being introduced at a club, Alice makes the first move and goes to make conversation with Tasha. They meet next at Alice's appartment when Papi comes to teach Helena and Alice how to play poker. During the game, Papi loses control of a couple of her bitches and Tasha accidentally elbows Alice in the eye while trying to break up the fight. They end up at the hospital together and Alice learns that Tasha is in the National Guard. After a small arguement about Iraq, Alice convinces Tasha to stay with her.
The flirting intensifies at the Roll the Dice premiere when Tasha tells Alice she likes girly girls, as well asher dress. However, at the end of the night as they discuss starting a slow relationship, Phyliss shows up on Alice's doorstep and tells her she has gotten a divorce so she can be with her. Tasha explains that she doesn't do drama and says she'll she her around. Later, Tasha and Papi have a conversation and Tasha get's upset after learning that Papi and Alice slept together. She is also worried that she may just be an expirement in Alice's mind because of her portals and such. Papi then goes to talk to Alice and tells her that she should just forget about Tasha if she can't get with who she is. Alice decides to go see Tasha at the army base and makes it clear that she really likes her and that she is not some portal into hot army chicks. They then go on a romantic helicopter ride together and Tasha takes Alice's hand. At the end of the day, they share their first kiss and when Alice suggests going back to Tasha's place, Tasha says she's not ready for that yet and they decide to go on a date. Tasha brings flowers to Alice's appartment and they go to Kit's performance, but once there, the group of people with them start making jokes about the war and america's involvment, getting Tasha upset. After the show, they go back to Alice's appartment and Tasha says they live in different worlds. They argue about the war and as Tasha is about to leave, she asks, "Why the fuck am I here?" and Alice responds saying, "Cause we wanna fuck each other!". Then they do exactly that and keep at it for a couple days. Later on, the ladies attend a horse race and Tasha runs into Private Brian who holds a grudge against her and thinks he should have her job. Alice get's a really great idea to take Tasha to Mexico but Tasha thinks it sounds really expensive, their conversation is interupted when they are almost hit by a car and Tasha has a flashback to her time in Iraq. Back at the military base, Tasha recives a warning to keep her private life private or she will be under investigation. Alice buys Tasha a watch but she is reminded of Lisa, a soldier that served with her and was killed, and she is overwhelmed and leaves the watch without saying anything. Alice drives down to the military base to confront Tasha about what happened with the watch. Tasha explains to Alice that if she isn't careful she will get investigated for homosexual conduct, and asks her to leave. After worrying about Tasha all day, Alice goes home and is woken up in the middle of the night by Tasha who came to explain about the watch and her friend Lisa. She also tells her that her orders have come down and that her unit is being mobilized back to Iraq and she is leaving in two weeks. Alice is ignoring Tasha after having heard she is leaving. Tasha stops Alice and tells her she knew that she handled the situation wrong and she should've told her sooner, she invites Alice to her going away party. Alice asks what happens now and Tasha tells her the process she goes through. Alice asks her to find a way to get out of it but Tasha tells her that she doesn't want to get out of it because she made the commitment. Alice tells Tasha to go and she leaves, having no other choice. Alice is lying on the couch not going to Tasha's party, when she is visited by Dana, who tells her to take a chance and go to Tasha's party because you never know what could happen. Alice goes to the party and shespends the night cuddled in Tasha's arms on the beach.
| SEASON FIVE Alice gets a phone call from Tasha who is getting ready to ship off to Iraq. She tells her she can't talk but she just wanted to hear her voice. Alice tells Tasha she loves her and Tasha replies with, "yeah, me too." Alice tells her to say it, and Tasha says, "I love you too, baby. I'll call if i can." After they hang up the phone Alice is sad and worried. Alice spends her free time sitting at home upset and watching the news about the war in Iraq. Shane tries to cheer her up by making her go out with her to Phyliss's coming out party. After the party, Alice returns to watching the news. She hears a knock at the door and finds Tasha there. After asking endless questions about what she's doing back, Tasha tells Alice she missed her. They then fuck in the hallway. Tasha goes to seek council because she is told that she's under investigation for homosexual conduct. She is told that these cases are usually very hard to win because they usually end up being true. Tasha goes to explain what happened to Alice and Alice has some trouble understanding why Tasha doesn't want to fight to be able to be openly gay and stay in the military but she tells Tasha that she's on her side no matter what. Alice and Tasha go on a double date with Jodi and Bette, but when they ask about why she's delayed she tells them she's not really sure. Alice doesn't understand why she won't tell Bette and Jodi, because they are trustworthy and safe to tell. When Jodi and Bette start making out at the table Alice tries to get them to stop because Tasha needs to keep a low profile. Alice tells them that she is being investigated for homosexual conduct and Tasha gets angry and says Alice doesn't get it that she is the one who will determine when and what people find out about her. Alice says she's having a hard time understanding why Tasha wants to be part of an organization that hates who she is but she understands that it's everything to Tasha, and Tasha is everything to Alice so she wants to stand by her. Beech gets assigned to Tasha's case and he tells her they have to lie about the aligations to attempt to prove that they are false. When Tasha shows Alice the case, she asks Tasha what she needs her to do. She asks if she needs her to disappear for a while, or leave her alone, be a non-exsistant girlfriend. Alice recieves a visit from two military men who come into her apparment and look over her things which make it evident that she is a lesbian. She is totally freaked out and Tasha comes in to find her scrubbing the chart off of her whiteboard. Tasha goes to Beech's home after Alice tells her what happened and makes him realize that it was wrong of him to not give Tasha warning that Alice's provacy may have been invaded. Alice and Tasha go to the secret lovers party where Alice takes a photo of a basketball star. This is of course against the rules since everyone at the party is trying to stay closeted. But, after hearing him on tv saying that he doesn't like gay people, and Tasha saying she wishes she could out him, Alice decides to do exactly that. She out's the man in a podcast but it goes viral and blows up. She gets offered to go on all sorts of news shows and talks about how she doesn't feel bad about what she did. Throughout this process she can't get a hold of Tasha on the phone at all so she has no idea how she feels about it all. Later that night at Jenny's party, Tasha confronts Alice and they have completely opposite views of the situation. They end their argument telling each other they can't stand to be around each other. Tasha goes to Alice's apartment to get her stuff and give Alice her key back. Alice asks if Tasha wants to come in to see if she had forgotten anything but Tasha says she trusts her. Alice responds saying, " That's bullshit, you don't trust me." Tasha tells her she trusts her but they're just not good for each other. Alice says she's really sorry that she fucked Tasha's life up and Tasha tells her she was gay long before she ever met her. They start talking about Alice's job offer on a TV program and when she says she isn't sure if she's going to do it Tasha says that that is the reason they aren't good for each other and asks why would she think twice about this, it is like a dream come true for her. Alice answers, "You don't know what I dream of." Tasha replies that she is right and says she is going to go. She takes the suitcase and leaves. Alices lies in bed and cries after their breakup. Tasha learns that she is up against an extremely tough prosecutor for her case Davis, and Alice must testify at the hearing. Alice accuses Davis of being a lesbian, she panics and agrees to let Tasha walk out of it if Alice doesn't out her. Instead of doing this, Tasha stands up for herself and her personal freedom and and declares her love for Alice, therefore getting kicked out of the army. Tasha runs after Alice to tell her what happened and that she loves her. As Tasha adjusts to life without the military, an extreme heat wave occurs in L.A. and Alice makes love to Tasha in the blackout. At the pink ride, Tasha askd Alice what she wants and then when Alice asks her the same question, she answers saying, "you." Tasha then asks Alice to move in with her and Alice agrees. While house shopping, they have several disagreements on rent and size, but they are all blaming pms. Alice meets a fashion designer named Clea on The Look who flirts with her and offers to take her for a ride on her scooter. Tasha gives up her plans to go to longbeach so that she can see Alice on The Look, Alice is happy about that. Alice meets Clea to go riding on her scooter. They spend the day flirting and after Alice takes a phone call from Tasha, Clea asks if that was her girlfriend on the phone. Alice says yes, it was and Clea tells her that is a little bit disappointing for her. Alice answers, "Me too... God that sounded bad." Alice tells Clea that she thinks her relationship might be in trouble. They are about to kiss but Alice pulls away and says she can't. At the movie wrap party Alice tells Shane she met someone but she says she knows the right thing to do is to work on her relationship with Tasha. Shane says why should you? Alice answers, "Because we all just let our relationships blowup at the first little temptation. Nobody works on their relationships anymore, everyone is after instant gratification and i don't wanna be like that." Shane agrees but says that she's always been giving it a chance but maybe now she's come to a point where she realized she wants something different and that is okay.
